Rebe Recommends: Korres After Sun Gel

**This post is the first in a series of “Rebe Recommends” articles where I share my favorite or most useful finds with you! I love finding great new products and several of my friends come to me and ask what products/tools I’m using for various things. All opinions are my own and NONE of these are sponsored posts! I don’t earn a dime from these recommendations, they are straight from my loyal heart! **

Hi! I’m Rebe and I’m half ghost, uh…I mean, Swedish!

Seriously, you guys. My skin is SO fair and super sensitive. Despite daily SPF usage, I usually mess up once or twice a year and roast myself to an uncomfortable point. Traditional thought is to turn to aloe and I tried that unnaturally green gel you buy in the mega bottle at CVS, but it never really helped. Perhaps an aloe plant would work, but sometimes you just need the convenience of something you can toss in your bag while traveling!

Friends, this stuff is amazing. When you slather it on your fiery skin it not only knocks down the heat immediately (keep it in your fridge for an extra bit of AHHHH), but it stays on your skin for a while and continues to cool and soothe. Also, because it is made with yogurt it’s insanely moisturizing. This REALLY helps in the peeling like a snake department. I swear I don’t peel at all or only a bit when I use this consistently after a sunburn.

Other benefits: I don’t find it to be sticky after it absorbs and (to me) it has a pleasant smell. I hate anything with strong scents (I rarely wear perfume for that very reason) but it’s light and sweetly organic smelling, like a spa product you might find. I’ve also used this on my kids, including my youngest who has skin even more sensitive than mine.

It’s got a 4.6/5 star rating on Sephora.com (276 reviews) and everyone I’ve told about this over the last 3 years has become a convert, as well! Definitely keep this product in mind if you tend to burn like I do!
